Work with variety
I have a wide range of tasks, which also contributes to the fact that, in my eighteenth year at Concens, I am still happy with my work and being part of the community along with my good colleagues. I appreciate the good colleagueship throughout the organization. In 2005 I started with tasks such as sweeping the floors in the production hall. Today, I am a production technician and a bit of and "jack of all tasks" as I have a variety of skills and extensive knowledge of both the production of the Concens actuators as well as testing, packing and shipping.
Many of my spare hours are used to make footage, or I enjoy relaxing by either fishing or playing the guitar. I love to travel together with my wife, where we prefer to enjoy delicious local specialities, and have fun while exploring the surroundings...
and, I am a bit of a master pilot when it comes to flying drones.

Positive influence
For me, it means a lot to go to work with joy, even after over 11 years in the company. That we have freedom under responsibility and even run the daily race under positive influence is certainly a great advantage. I work with different tasks in production and think it is nice that there is an opportunity for this kind of variety. Concens offers many benefits, such as flex time, yearly staff events and shared breakfasts every Friday, which strengthen the good internal collaboration with both management and colleagues. It gives me the feeling that I am part of the company, as we are continuously informed about the development. I am married for 35 years and together we have two grown girls and 2 lovely grandchildren, who my husband and I spend a lot of time with in our spare time. Otherwise, I enjoy weekend stays with friends, spending time on walks with the dog, ride my bicycle or going to the gym to keep my fit…
and, there is a professional golfer hidden in me.

Close to management
I have been part of the Concens family since 2008 and I am still enjoying my daily bicycle ride to and from work because of my colleagues and the casual way we talk to and respect each other. Our management is down to earth and I like the good and informal collaboration. I appreciate the opportunities for change, as the work is versatile and we change between preparing parts for our actuators and working on the assembly line. My husband and I have 3 adult children, which we always have supported a lot in their various leisure interests. We are very close to our family, friends and neighbours and we love to watch a good soccer game...
and, I enjoy watching TV series while resting on my couch.

Freedom and diversity
It is now my 4th year I am at Concens, where I am part of the team and have my daily work in our production. I enjoy the good working conditions, having great colleagues and that we have a free tone of voice. I value the freedom and diversity in the work and that we produce something that really works.
I am passionate about riding my motorcycle in my spare time, as well as spending time with fitness. I have 2 adult girls, 3 adult bonus girls with my husband Brian and together we have a total of 7 grandchildren. Since I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles, I work as a volunteer for a second-hand shop, as a jigsaw puzzle tester, to check that no parts are missing…
and, when I'm with friends and family my jigsaw puzzle is complete.

Informality and honesty
For 7 years, I have now been a part of the team at Concens, and I can gladly say that it is a good place to work. I appreciate being with colleagues where the tone of the conversation is informal and honest. There is a great flexibility, especially when it comes to planning the workday, as I can influence my 'come and go' times. I am the mother of two lovely children. Nicklas, 13 years, who drives Speedway and plays handball and Nelli, 10 years, with a passion for playing handball. I myself like to keep fit with my fitness at the gym and of course to be a part of my children's sports as well. I am also a volunteer helper in our local speedway club - Esbjerg Motor Sport. As you can see, I am very active...
and, I have a weakness for Pepsi-Max and internet shopping.

Strong values and continuous improvements
I joined Concens in 2007 as Technical Manager (as employee no. 6) and in 2009, when Peder (Peder Jørgensen, founder of Concens) decided to take one step back, I took over as the Managing Director. I am passionate about developing Concens and ensuring that we have a well-driven, financially strong and respected corporation for many years to come. Fortunately, my daily work implies a broad variety of different tasks, which have both short- and long-term perspectives and it is important to me that all colleagues thrives and that we always keep our heritage and values in mind. Together with my wife, Dorthe - who works as a nurse in the local hospital – I enjoy a long weekend away, preferably in one of Europe’s big cities. I do also like to play tennis and golf and keep myself fit by occasionally running in my spare time. In addition, there is always a small (or large) project to be taken care of on our old house. Furthermore, I am active as board member in the local tennis club…
and, I am always ready for a challenge on the tennis court.

Technology & education
It is now my seventh year at Concens and I like the fact that our work is both appreciated and praised. We have a great deal of freedom in how we plan our own workday. I mainly deal with the technical side, testing and participating in development for special products. I also enjoy being the Concens product educator for our many partners. The good colleagues, informal jargon and room for humour on a daily basis gives me great value. My wife and I have 2 adult children whom we love spending our time with. I am fond of electronics and mechanics, and I'm generally a very active handyman spending spare time on house, garden and car. Fishing, playing badminton and billiards, and watching Speedway and Formula 1 are also part of my leisure interests...
and, I am a virtuoso in the kitchen.
