As many factors plays a role in how sound propagates in our actuators, we would like to lighten it a bit up.
The noise level depends on, the gearing, the length of the piston, the material the piston or application is made of, and of course the environment it is used in.
Aluminum has a tendency to “sing along” and unintentionally amplify certain higher frequencies.
Wooden floors, or table tops on the other hand can amplify lower frequencies sometimes.
Rigid, solid and heavy applications can dampen sound, but lightweight and loose applications often do not.
Combine all the positive factors mentioned above together, and the sound image should be pleasant.
